Anonymousse

”Th’line is back and opens the doors to a new universe with the performance Anonymousse. It is a disturbing and at the same time irresistible comic lens to see the world through.” - Mariken, Scenekunst

Anonymousse consists of two masses of people, two identities that can only work when they go up in something bigger. They are the opposite of individualists; they do not want to be made visible, do not want to be picked out and held accountable.

They are afraid of being too comfortable, afraid of falling out of the shadows. They are on their toes. They have high shoulders. And they enjoy it. They just want to have access to the enormous free space of anonymity, where through being nothing one can be everything. In this duet, Th'Line follows up a long-standing interest in creating and stepping into strange figures and shifting her own identity.

In Anonymousse, they examine how different degrees of anonymity affect our thoughts and actions. Th'Line is run by dance artists Kristina Wallace and Ida Wigdel, both educated at the Oslo Academy of the Arts. The company works with dance and choreography in various sizes and formats, and has toured a number of festivals and venues at home and abroad. Their previous production Steelo & Th’Future triumphed around the country in 2019. Their many years of artistic work create a complex interplay, and the play between the two is what drives their work further into ever new and unpredictable paths. They have developed and fine-tuned their own timing that mixes the beautiful and the ugly, the stupid and the cool about each other. confrontational show.

Anonymousse had it’s premiere at RFD (NO) 21-24.02 2020, and was booked at Kloden (NO) 29-30.01 2021.

"Oh ... I could watch these two amazing idiots forever."
"It's an exciting, almost irresistible lens to see the world through because the characters are boundlessly corny, strange, unpredictable, unsympathetic and innocent at the same time."
